This game is similar to Seven Card Stud, except that there are two winning hands – the highest and the lowest ranked hands. The two players with the highest and lowest hands split the pot. Cards are considered low if they are 8 or lower.
- Ante up: Each player pays an ante, of equal value, to be in the round.
- Deal 'em up: Three cards are dealt to each player – two face down, and one face up.
- Bring in: The player with the lowest face up card must pay an additional bet – the bring-in. If two players have the same low card, this is decided by suit, with clubs as the lowest, followed by diamonds, hearts and spades.
- Call, raise or fold: Each player makes a bet, choosing to call, raise or fold their hand.
- Community Cards: The turn, river, sixth and seventh cards are dealt, with more betting rounds in between
- Showdown: The highest hand wins half the pot, and the lowest hand wins half the pot.
- Scooping the pot: One player can win the whole pot but getting both the highest and lowest hands. If no hand qualifies as low, the highest hand wins the whole pot.
- Low hand rules: Straights and flushes do not count in low hands.
